Business Central at SUNY Adirondack
Business Central is SUNY Adirondack’s hub for services and programming to develop and promote businesses of all sizes, as well as the place to connect community members with SUNY Adirondack faculty and students in pursuit of an entrepreneurial mindset. Business Central coordinates all activities related to the College’s work in support of business development and growth, coordinated through the following initiatives:
Workshops and Events:
Business Central provides a wide selection of programming to support students career development, new business development, economic growth, workforce development and the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Through its economic development partnerships, Business Central provides current and future entrepreneurs with the resources, workshops and events to turn their business ideas from concept to reality.
Microenterprise Assistance Program (MAP)
This 10 week, non-credit course for small business owners and entrepreneurs addresses the business planning process, resources to support small businesses and topics including marketing, bookkeeping, legal issues, financial projections, human resources and tools for small business.
